Dear Lynx Educational Foundation, Lynx Crew and staff…

I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you all involved in creating and maintaining such a wonderful learning opportunity for students aboard the Privateer Lynx. As the GATE teacher for three different schools, I was fortunate enough to sail with my students twice during the week of December 9, 2008!

The kids had a blast with the whole program. I know they learned a lot about history and were fascinated with the various learning stations. The captain and all crew members were great with keeping them focused and on track. You have your presentation down to a science. Thanks so much! It was truly an amazing and memorable study trip.

I really appreciate the crew’s flexibility and creativity in providing such a fantastic learning opportunity for all students. Nothing beats hands-on learning experiences, facing the challenges of teamwork and taking time out to enjoy our beautiful City of San Diego from a different perspective. A big shout out goes to Stacey for helping me customize our day a bit. Her background with teaching is a true asset to your program.

I have attached letters from the teams of students who attended on either day. I think you’ll see from their writing what a wonderful day it was for them!
