Jeffrey L. Woods
Director of Operations

A long-time sailor and instructor in personal development, Jeffrey Woods coordinates the educational programs of Lynx as well as handles her dockside operations. His love of sailing began early and has evolved through racing small boats and catamarans to participating in big boat ocean races.

In 1985 Mr. Woods launched J.W. Tumbles, a children's Fitness program in San Diego County which later was successfully franchised both here in the US and abroad. He expanded his curriculum and activities to include adults, specializing in team building for corporations. Through his company, he developed and instituted summer camp programs and after-school enrichment activities stressing the importance of physical fitness and health. These programs have been so effective that he has become a motivational speaker and consultant to several school districts in northern San Diego County -- a talent he brings to the Lynx experience.

Mr. Woods has conducted interactive assemblies at schools promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle as the most viable path to success in the classroom and on the job. He adapted these principles to his successful corporate team building programs which highlight the use of physical games to underscore the importance of cooperation and personal responsibility to the overall achievement of a team effort.
